Keen to embrace the adult colouring trend while it lasts, a North American parking company has apparently unveiled a special customer appreciation program in select garages across the continent.

Observers report that it all started as a pilot project in a garage in Gatineau, Quebec, where it instantly caught the attention of the unsuspecting recipients.

“Wow, this is really… uh, funny,” Alice Shipton remarked. “I wonder who approved this?”

Impark isn’t revealing the selection criteria, but each day a small number of customers are treated to a free colouring page clamped to their windshield under the wiper.

“Great. Just what I need to see at the end of a long and stressful day,” said Ronald Slater. “They’ve got some real wise guys working here.”

Wise indeed. Public reaction to Turtle Tom (“Thomas la tortue”) has been tumultuous: in stark contrast to the unsurprisingly tepid response to Impark’s official mascot, Parker Pete.
