LONDON, England—Ceremonies were held last weekend to celebrate Elizabeth’s 60th year as HR manager for Great Britain INC, a position she acquired when her father George retired from the company.
“You guys! This is too much!” said the 87 year old Elizabeth, or “Lizzie”, as her co-workers called her. Ceremonies were held last weekend to celebrate her 60th year as the HR manager for Great Britain INC, a position she acquired when her father George retired from the company.
“I mean, Westminster Abbey? How did you guys even book this place? And that CROWN! You guys know me too well.”
We interviewed her assistant Charles, or “Chuck”, as she so lovingly refers to him, and he had nothing but great things to say. “She’s a hard worker! Maybe a little too hard – HAHA, no but seriously she’s almost 90 and has never taken a day off.”
Working for GB INC is something of a family tradition for Lizzie, and hard work has certainly paid off, with the company now controlling several overseas subsidiaries. “We’re always looking to expand our brand” she said, adding “our company handbook is used all over the world, it’s kind of a gold standard when it comes to running things efficiently.”
When asked if they’re hiring any new positions, she responds “Not anytime soon. Although if you want to get on the waiting list, you may want to talk to my grandson Harry.”
