Despite a recent warning from Canada’s toke-friendly prime minister that marijuana will continue to be illegal in this country until a strong regulatory framework is created, pot users and dealers nationwide are declining to stop and wait.

“Too many people rely on it,” everyone said. “But we’ll do our best would try to meet the new regulations, whenever the government actually gets around to finalizing them.”

Trudeau wasn’t altogether surprised by Canada’s answer.

“It would be preferable if people would be willing to not break the law,” said Trudeau. “I think that’s something that would give some of my colleagues a lot of comfort. But I understand.”

The Prime Minister declined to address our inquiries regarding a peculiar scent emanating from his jacket.
